KORA, a new outdoor clothing brand that uses the science of nature to support athletic performance in extreme environments, has appointed a Scotland-based innovative integrated fulfilment and call centre service to process and distribute its premium range of yak super-wool fabric.

Having identified properties in yak wool suitable for base layers worn in the outdoors, kora’s range of clothing using its unique, natural, high performance fabric – Hima-Layer™ – to harness and maximise these performance benefits for the outdoor adventurer is now available online at new website, www.kora.net.

Now Cumbernauld-based specialist business process outsourcing company, KBV, will provide a total call centre service supporting customer enquiries and order processing services for the kora range whilst Linlithgow-based PPF Shipping will provide a fast, cost effective and efficient distribution service.

Michael Kleinwort, founder of kora, said: “This unique integrated fulfilment and call centre service provides us with an efficient and effective one stop solution for all our fulfilment requirements.

“It lets us retain control over our manufacturing and sales process whilst KBVO and PPF get on with ensuring that our customers receive their garments as quickly and efficiently as possible.”

Chris Munro, director at KBVO, said: “Our partnership with PPF enables us to offer a full outsourced package from call order processing right through to despatch.

“And because our operating systems are fully integrated, that is a seamless process which results in customers receiving their goods quickly and at the lowest possible cost to our clients.”

Kora founder, Michael Kleinwort, is a keen traveller, photographer and endurance athlete, who has trekked through some of the most remote, high altitude mountains in the Himalayas with explorer, Jeff Fuchs.
