Tayside soliictors firm given a new stamp of approval, with the award of the LawNet Mark of Excellence

LOCAL solicitors firm, Miller Hendry, has announced today that it is the second solicitors firm in Scotland to be awarded a national ‘Mark of Excellence’ in client service, specifically designed for law firms.

Miller Hendry now carries the LawNet Mark of Excellence as a sign of its commitment to delivering quality service to clients. Miller Hendry is the second of only two law firms in Scotland who have been awarded the mark which is continuously measured through online customer satisfaction surveys, staff training and mystery shopping, and audited as part of the LawNet ISO 9001:2008 international quality standard.

Miller Hendry is a long-established legal practice in the area, which has served individuals and businesses in the Tayside, Perthshire and Strathearn areas for several generations. The firm has grown to be one of the largest legal practices in the area.

Managing partner, Jeffrey Hope, commented: “Miller Hendry is committed to excellence and we welcome the independent evaluation that comes with this standard as recognition of that commitment.

“It should give Miller Hendry’s customers peace of mind that they will get the best possible legal services, tailored to their needs, and that they are working with a team of professionals who are passionate about maintaining high quality standards of service.”

Miller Hendry is part of the LawNet network, which requires all its law firm members to secure and maintain ISO 9001 quality standards across the firm.

LawNet, chief executive, John Thomas, explained: “Our firms are always focussed on delivering excellence, but we recognise that today it’s not enough simply to be an excellent legal adviser.

“How you look after clients is what makes a difference, and this Mark of Excellence has been designed to provide a badge that customers can look out for.”
