Media Release: United Auctions named in 1,000 inspiring companies list

UA exec team

UNITED Auctions (UA) has been featured in a landmark report, ‘1,000 Companies to Inspire Britain’, by the London Stock Exchange.

Scotland’s leading livestock auctioneers is one of only 61 companies named in Scotland.

The inaugural list celebrates progressive and dynamic SMEs in the UK.

United Auctions rubs shoulders with notable names like Brewdog, Iomart Group plc and Hunter Boots.

To be included in the unranked list, inspiring companies had to meet a range of criteria over the last four years.

Said Xavier Rolet, CEO of London Stock Exchange Group: “Our report seeks, for the first time, to identify 1,000 of the most exciting small and medium-sized companies in the UK…We are looking for the innovators of tomorrow.”

The report represents a diverse economy in the UK and features 97 industries, encompassing food production and trade, art, fashion and retail, and technology, media and communication.

Said Neil McLean, group joint managing director at United Auctions: “We’re surprised and delighted to feature amongst such an impressive peer group. To be singled out within the farming sector in this way is a real testament to our staff and our relationship with customers.”
