Media Release: West College Scotland appoints Diarmid O’Hara as director of communications, policy and planning

WEST College Scotland is delighted to announce the appointment of former Newsnight Scotland editor, Diarmid O’Hara, as director of communications, policy and planning, with immediate effect.

51 year-old Diarmid joins the college following over 20 years with BBC Scotland, where he held a variety of senior positions, including editor of Newsnight Scotland.

“WCS is a thriving and exciting environment with a student population of around 40,000,” said Diarmid. “As an innovative leader in the FE sector, I am thrilled to be part of the team and look forward to the challenges ahead.”
