Media Release: Passionate about Purple Day, to celebrate Epilepsy Scotland’s 60th birthday

WE are inviting everyone to dress up for Purple Day on Wednesday 26 March to celebrate Epilepsy Scotland’s 60th birthday.

People can join in the party atmosphere to mark this international awareness-raising day by helping to turn Scotland purple.

We know some will rise to the challenge by heading to school or work wearing purple or enjoy sharing purple iced cakes or traybakes.

Others will use the people power of social media to ask for local Scottish landmarks to be lit up in purple tones.

We hope many will be passionate for Purple Day and take part in fun filled activities to support people with epilepsy. Just request or download our free Purple Pack for lots of great ideas to get you in the mood to raise funds for this vital work.

Please go purple and show your support for the 54,000 people who live here with epilepsy.

Like all good birthdays, we want to see your photo momentos from this special day, for our web album.
