THE Avenue Shopping Centre in Newton Mearns has been given a fresh spring facelift with a series of significant investments in its infrastructure.

The facelift encompasses the creation of an ambitious public realm space at its Ayr Road entrance as well as a comprehensive refreshment and upgrading of customer facilities and extends to the creation of new branding, a new website and the introduction of free WIFI throughout the mall.

Michelle McCabe, centre manager at The Avenue, said: “The Avenue has been a centre of activity over recent months and we’re very much looking forward to the new public space, which will afford the mall a fresh outlook onto Ayr Road and open up exciting opportunities for a range of special events.

“Our customer toilets will also enjoy a complete contemporary style makeover to include disabled and baby changing facilities as part of our new suite of improvements.

“In addition, a reconfiguration and rebranding of our entrances to the mall has extended to our digital presence with the launch of a bright new, easy to use website and the introduction of free WIFI to ensure that shoppers have an even more enjoyable retail experience.

“And our jam-packed events calendar continues apace – from our popular Funday Sundays, book signings, tea dance and forthcoming Easter events – confirming the new look Avenue’s position is central to you!”

The Avenue Shopping Centre offers shoppers a warm and welcoming shopping experience conveniently located on the outskirts of Glasgow city centre.
