SHEPHERD Chartered Surveyors has appointed Julie Smith to its Musselburgh office as a surveyor specialising in residential valuation.

A member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, Smith, who graduated from university as a mature student, joins Shepherd from the public sector and brings with her a wealth of experience in customer-facing workplace environments.

Of her appointment to Shepherd, Smith said: “I’m delighted to join Shepherd’s busy Musselburgh office at a time when high levels of activity are returning to the local property market.

“Shepherd is a major player within the residential property sector throughout Scotland and I’m very pleased to be given the opportunity to play a part in its development within Musselburgh and throughout East Lothian.”
