SCOTTISH firm, Insolvency Support Services Limited (ISS), has fought off stiff competition from some of the biggest accountancy practices in the world to win the title, ‘Insolvency Team of the Year’ at the prestigious UK Insolvency & Rescue Awards 2014.

Short listed as a finalist with six other firms, the ISS team were presented with their trophy at a glitzy award ceremony in London.

ISS director, Eileen Maclean, commented: “This achievement is testament to the professionalism, commitment and hard work of the whole team who strive to provide the best service possible to all parties concerned.

“We are proud of what we have achieved in just five years and it is fantastic to receive this UK Insolvency and Rescue Award as recognition of this. This is a great achievement for our practice and demonstrative of our high standards.

ISS was established in 2009 as a niche business, providing consultancy, training and outsourced case progression/closure to the UK insolvency profession. In just five years, it has excelled in these fields specialising in low-cost, process efficient services, high-quality training and Insolvency Practitioner led consultancy. Its strength is assimilating its team into a client’s business as their partner. It is supported by connected business Fife Accounts Limited which operates from the head office premises in Glenrothes. Since inception, the combined operations have steadily grown, currently employing 17 team members.
