Call to make college course database comprehensive

THE call is going out to media studies course leaders at Scottish colleges and universities to help complete a database of media courses, being hosted by allmediascotland.com

The database, sponsored by the Scottish Qualifications Authority and appearing on the front page of the site, contains course details from the likes of Queen Margaret University College and Clydebank College, but remains some way off from being comprehensive.

Once it is completed, it should prove an one-stop shop for the thousands of school-leavers (and their career advisers) who each each year are looking to study journalism, film, graphic design, marketing, etc.

Plus an useful tool for current students wishing to enrol on to a post-graduate course.

The database is free for course leaders to use.
