Brown Shows She Has the Right Stuff

A student from Cardonald College has been chosen Scottish Student Journalist of the Year.

At a ceremony held yesterday evening, at Glasgow City Chambers, Louise Brown was chosen as the winner of the top prize at the Write Stuff student journalism awards, supported by local and national newspaper titles, the Society of Editors and the National Union of Journalists.

She won ahead of a very strong showing in the shortlist by students from the Scottish Centre for Journalism Studies.
