Radio stations battle it out on TV

IT’S a battle of the TV adverts for at least two Scottish radio stations, with promotions for talk107 and Emap-owned Clyde 1 and Forth One all hitting our screens.

Clyde 1’s ad – set for an initial three-week campaign – launched on Friday, taking a high-profile slot during the broadcast of Coronation Street.

There are 3 x 20 second ads, featuring Bowie at Breakfast, Suzie McGuire and Clyde 1’s Superscoreboard team.

Meanwhile, the Forth One ads feature Boogie and Jill, Grant Stott, Sam Jackson and Yazz.

In a similar vein, all-speech station, talk107, is heavily promoting its breakfast show presenters, Scott Wilson and Susan Morrison.
