AN amalgamation of The Herald and Sunday Herald websites is expected to take place within the next few weeks, to create a seven-day operation known as heraldscotland.com
Yesterday, staff were informed of the proposal, with the papers’ editor-in-chief, Donald Martin.
Meanwhile, from Monday, the newsroom at the papers’ HQ in Glasgow’s Renfield Street will be required to operate a clean desk policy.
In a memo to staff, Martin says: “I’d like to improve the Herald & Times newsroom, environmentally, to make it a safer, cleaner and better place to work, to make us all more efficient and to boost our green credentials.”
