A FORMER picture editor at the Daily Record is taking up a post with one of Scotland’s biggest photo agencies.
Stuart Nicol was with the Record as picture editor until four years ago. On the first of next month, he joins SNS Group, which specialises in sports and corporate photography.
He joins, as director operations, from the Telegraph Media Group.
Glasgow-based, SNS Group has a staff of 16. Nicol’s role will involve widening the content and services offered by the agency, including a major drive into video and other multi-media platforms.
After nine years as picture editor at the Record, he spent nine months at the Press Association, as group picture editor, before joining Telegraph Media Group as executive editor pictures.
