Job cuts reported at Bauer’s Scottish radio stations

THE owner of Radio Clyde and Radio Forth is about to announce job cuts at its ‘big city’ stations based in Scotland, the north of England and Northern Ireland – so it has been reported. has a query in with Bauer Media as to what, if anything, is happening with its Scottish stations.

Says The Guardian newspaper: “The job losses will be centred around some of its 20-strong network of Big City stations which are based in the north of England, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

“[They include] Key 103 in Manchester, Metro Radio in Newcastle, Radio City in Liverpool and Radio Aire in Leeds. Scottish Big City stations include Clyde 1 in Glasgow, Forth One in Edinburgh and Dundee-based Tay FM.”
