Montgomery appointment a ‘massive coup’ for recruitment and communications group

A FORMER finance director at STV and Rangers chief executive has been made a non-exec chair of a Glasgow-based recruitment and communications company.

Alan Montgomery is described by The Pure Group as “one of Scotland’s most respected businessmen” and his appointment is being described as a “massive coup”.

Pure was founded ten years ago as a recruitment company but has since diversified into the likes of advertising, marketing and printing.

Says a statement issued by Pure: “Alan Montgomery brings a wealth of experience and know how to the table with a lengthy and varied career encompassing many different areas in blue chip UK companies and US multi-nationals as well as pioneering and leading many new businesses.”

Pure Group managing director, Graham Black, is quoted: “This is a massive coup for our business and will show our competitors that we are moving into a different level and really do mean business.”
