Press Ball secures Camelot sponsorship

THE annual press ball organised by the Glasgow and West of Scotland branch of the Journalists’ Charity has secured sponsorship from National Lottery operators, Camelot.

The sponsorship comes just as the organisers are looking to sell a further 100 tickets, to bring the event up to 400.

Already signed up to attend the event – which is taking place at The Hilton hotel, in Glasgow, on the fifth of next month – are The Scotsman, the Scottish Daily Mail and the Daily Record and Sunday Mail newspapers. Plus the Scottish Mail on Sunday, The Scottish Sun, STV, the Daily Telegraph and Radio Clyde.

From the world of public relations, The BIG Partnership, McGarvie Morrison Media, Beattie Communications, Media2k and the Leith Agency will be also there.
