How to become an 'effective freelance' is among five training courses being staged next month and in October by the National Union of Journalists.
The courses, taking place in Glasgow, have been set up by the NUJ in Scotland.
Price details have yet to be announced, but the courses are:
September 6 – Advanced Internet Research – Glasgow, venue t/b/c
September 9 – Feature Writing – NUJ Office, Glasgow
September 30 – The Effective Freelance – NUJ Office, Glasgow
October 7 – The Entrepreneurial Freelance – NUJ Office, Glasgow
October 14 – Travel Writing – NUJ Office, Glasgow
