Movies about the Media: Under Fire

“I DON’T take sides, I take pictures,” says the war photographer played by Nick Nolte in Under Fire, directed by Roger Spottiswoode.

As it notes an average 7.1/10 rating, the movies database, IMDB, describes the storyline thus: “Three journalists in a romantic triangle are involved in political intrigue during the last days of the corrupt Somozoa regime in Nicaragua before it falls to a popular revolution in 1979.”

It was made in 1983. Joanna Cassidy and Gene Hackman also star.

On Amazon, it’s either four or five stars out of five.
