Magazine publisher hopeful of 1,200 visitors to its two-day trade show

A MAGAZINE publisher is hoping to have attracted over a thousand people to a trade show it is hosting today and tomorrow in Glasgow.

By the show’s close tomorrow, Paisley and Edinburgh-based Connect Communications is expecting to have attracted more than 1,200 dental professionals to Hampden Park, at the first-ever Scottish Dental Show, an extension of its Scottish Dental magazine.

The show has attracted over 100 exhibitors.

Says Alan Ramsay, managing director of Connect Communications: “We have been producing Scottish Dental magazine since 2010 and, through our direct dealings with the industry, it became apparent that there was a demand to create an event of this nature in Scotland.

“Many of the large-scale dental conferences and exhibitions have traditionally been in the main conurbations of London and Birmingham, which involves huge time commitment and often, great expense. Our team has pulled out all the stops to attract the leading professionals within the industry in Scotland to exhibit, speak, educate and entertain over the two days of the show.

“And with more than 1,200 visitors registered to attend, we hope that the Scottish Dental Show will now become a regular feature in the dental calendar.”
