Scottish Cycling quarterly magazine launching

A NEW, free magazine devoted to Scottish cycling is being launched by the publisher of The Herald newspaper.

Scottish Cycling will be distributed with the Sunday Herald (for readers in Perth and Dundee and northwards) this weekend and will be also available in over 500 specialist shops.

The title is being published quarterly and some 50,000 copies are being printed.

A free, digital e-edition format will be also available, via www.scottishcyclingmag.co.uk, to read on all mobile and tablet devices including the iPad and iPhone.  The digital edition will include audio and video.

In a statement issued by the publishers, managing editor, Cameron McNeish, is quoted, as saying: “In this first issue we describe ten great cycling routes in various parts of Scotland and I’ll be describing the highs and lows of my recent Land’s End to John O’Groats cycle tour. We will also be looking at cycling-specific water and windproof gear and some pretty cool panniers. We also have some good tips on cold weather cycling and hear about the National Cycling Network.”

Copies are available (£1 P&P) by telephoning 0141 302 7744.
