McNamee nominated in magazine editors’ awards

THE Glasgow-based editor of The Big Issue magazine, Paul McNamee, has been nominated in UK-wide awards celebrating the best of magazine and website editing.

He has been nominated in the Lifestyle Brand category of the British Society of Magazine Editors’ Awards.

He is up against Gillian Carter (BBC Good Food, BBC Worldwide / Immediate Media), Michelle Ogundehin (ELLE Decoration, Hearst Magazines UK), Guy Woodward (Food and Travel, Green Pea Publishing), Tim de Lisle (Intelligent Life, The Economist Group), Tony Chambers (Wallpaper*, IPC Media), and Mandie Gower (Zest, Hearst Magazines UK).

The winners are announced on November 11.

The shortlists for two remaining categories – Campaign and Innovation/Brand-Building Initiative of the Year – will be announced during the middle of next month.
