“My mate ate a dodgy curry and ended up in hospital!”

“My God, is he OK?”

“Naw, he’s in a KORMA.”

If you know funnier curry jokes – and I’m sure you do – then now’s your chance to ‘Gag on for a Curry’ and win a free ticket to the Curry King of Comedy’s Thali Ho Ho Ho shows at this year’s Magner’s Comedy fest.

‘Curry King’, Charan Gill, is serving up pakora, pints and punch lines at Slumdog when he delivers a series of one-man stand-up performances this month – and he’s giving away a free ticket as a prize to the top ten winners of the first-ever Gag on for a Curry competition!

Charan said: “Glasgow punters have always loved combining a curry with a good laugh, and, having gained a reputation over the years as a bit of a patter merchant, I’m really looking forward to hearing their favourite curry gags!”

To enter the Gag on for a Curry competition, just email your best curry gags to info@slumdogbarandkitchen.com and you could be in with a chance of winning a free ticket to Charan’s Sunday series of comedy slots at Slumdog.

For only £15, diners can reserve a fun-filled Sunday afternoon at Slumdog, including a famous Slumdog Thali for lunch and Charan’s stand-up comedy performance. The food and fun kicks off at 1.30pm on Sunday 20 March, 27 March, 3 April and 10 April.

Slumdog Bar & Kitchen is located at 410 Sauchiehall Street. Log onto www.slumdogbarandkitchen.com for more details or telephone 0141 333 9933 to book a seat.
