Scotland Revealed another ratings success for STV

A SERIES of programmes showing Scotland from the air has again been a ratings winner for STV.

Scotland Revealed is shown on a Thursday evening, as part of a policy by STV of increasingly opting out of the ITV1 network.

While the decision to show movies on a Sunday evening, instead of the likes of Miss Marple and Doc Martin, has resulted in lower audience share, the first two instalments of the three-part Scotland Revealed have done well.

allmediascotland.com understands the second episode, on Thursday, delivered a 21 per cent share of its available viewing audience, beating the ITV1 network by four per cent and knocking BBC One’s Holby City into second place.
