Oliver to receive Honorary Degree

THE Scots presenter of various history programmes on TV, Neil Oliver, is to receive an honorary degree on Friday.

Oliver is to receive an Honorary Doctorate of Letters from the University of Abertay, Dundee. Among his TV credits are ‘Coast’ and ‘A History of Scotland’.

Some 300 students will be graduating on the day at the city’s Caird Hall.

Also receiving an honorary doctorate will be Stuart Wall, founder and chair of the Opal Property Group, the UK’s largest private owner of student accommodation. He receives an Honorary Doctorate of Business Administration.
