Scots stations help towards million pound fundraiser

THREE Scots radio stations have helped towards the raising of over one million pounds over a four-year period for the Armed Forces charity, Help for Heroes.

The trio – Real Radio Scotland, 96.3 Real XS and 105.2 Smooth Radio – were part of fundraising staged UK-wide by the Real and Smooth brands.

All stations within the radio group dedicated a day of programming each year – Help for Heroes Day – to raising awareness of, and vital funds for, the work of the charity, which helps injured servicemen and women and their families.

Last year, the ‘day’ took place in September.
