Digital appointment for former Setanta marketing chief

A FORMER marketing manager for the now defunct digital TV sports channel, Setanta, has been taken on by a Glasgow digital communications agency.

Grant Fraser was responsible for marketing Setanta in Scotland and new his job at Dog Digital is senior digital planning officer. Dog had worked with Setanta when it launched in Scotland three years ago, producing digital advertising and vital games about the Scottish Premier League.

The role of senior digital planning officer involves identifying client needs and marrying campaigns  with target audiences.

Fraser had been working with Dog for the past three months on a consultancy basis.

He will now be tasked with heading up the planning team within the agency, working across a number of its key accounts including Scottish Enterprise, Scottish Premier League, Standard Life and Scottish Widows Investment Partnership.

Fraser will work alongside Richard Kelly, digital marketing manager.
