Scots forum dedicated to digital appoints new deputy chair

A SCOTS forum dedicated to improving digital skills in the advertising and creative services sector has appointed a new deputy chair.

Ilana Munckton, digital group head at at media planning agency, MediaCom Edinburgh, has been appointed deputy chair of the Digital Forum, Scotland – run by the Institute of Practitioners in Advertising.

Says the IPA: “The Digital Forum, Scotland, aims to bring together a range of specialists from media, creative, design and web services to improve the digital knowledge and understanding across all individuals within the advertising and creative services sector.”

In a IPA statement, Munckton is quoted, as saying: “It is with great pleasure that I take up the reins as deputy chair of the IPA Digital Forum in Scotland. The Digital Forum does a fantastic job in uniting Scottish agencies to ensure our talented people and clients keep abreast of the latest and greatest advancements in the digital landscape. I’m truly honoured to be a part of that, and hope my experience can help bolster the great work that is already being done.”

The forum chair is Laura Haggerty of Carat Edinburgh.
