NEW hospitality sector operator, Eton Leisure, introduces a certain cachet to Glasgow’s International Financial Services District tomorrow (Saturday 6 November) with the official opening of Kudos Bar and Restaurant on the corner of Waterloo Street and Wellington Street.
In addition to a stylish upstairs bar and dining room, customers at Kudos can also enjoy a unique glass atrium external courtyard, affording them an opportunity to connect with the bar and enjoy the atmosphere whilst enjoying an al fresco refreshment.

Kudos offers a comprehensive range of beers, wines and spirits combined with a menu which evolves from great value lunches to modern contemporary dining in the evenings.
“All meals are freshly prepared on site and our signature dish of Lamb Kleftico – featuring the finest lamb shank, roasted for more than six hours in red onion, garlic cloves, tomato, potato, carrot, oregano, mint, olive oil, feta cheese and served with fine rice – is already proving a big hit with diners,” said Beaton.
Other mains dishes include hand beer battered haddock, chicken caccatoria, moules marineier, salmon parmezano and piri piri chicken.
Kudos benefits from a downstairs private suite which can accommodate up to 60 people. Ideal for private functions, this suite is also suitable for local businesses to use for meetings and events.
Located just yards from Central Station at 29 Waterloo Street on the site formerly occupied by Archie’s, which was destroyed by fire in 2005, Kudos opens following a lavish £500,000 redevelopment.
