Media release: Cookie supports Scottish Ballet

COOKIE, the award-winning bistro in Glasgow’s southside, is supporting Scottish Ballet’s Company launch party at Tramway on Thursday 11 November from 6-8pm.

Company is a new membership scheme for people in their 20s and 30s and features ticket discounts, drinks receptions and season launches for £20 a year.

In partnership with Cookie, anCnoc and BrewDog, the free Company launch party will feature: complimentary drinks and nibbles; photography and high-definition film of Scottish Ballet’s work and an exclusive chance to experience London DJ, Richard Lannoy, as well as make-up demonstrations and areas featuring costume design.

Cookie co-founder, Domenico Del Priore, said: “Cookie has always collaborated closely with arts organisations and, as our close southside neighbour, Scottish Ballet’s Company initiative is the perfect association for us.

“Many Scottish Ballet customers are Cookie regulars for pre and post performance food and refreshments and we hope to strengthen this relationship further by offering Company members a 15 per cent discount on all meals at Cookie.”

Recently named Glasgow Newcomer of the Year 2010 for breaking the mould of local eating and drinking, Cookie is based at 72 Nithsdale Road, Pollokshields, Glasgow. For further information about Cookie and future events log on to www.cookiescotland.com or check it out on Facebook.
