BOUDOIR Wine Bar in Merchant Square, in the heart of Glasgow’s cultural, fashion and food quarter, has launched a new petite food menu to complement its extensive wine range.
Having established itself as Glasgow’s premier contemporary wine bar, Boudoir proprietor, Darren Scott, feels that the time is now right to launch an enhanced food offering.
“Our new menu means that guests can now choose from a range of delicious items including everything from fresh morning pastries to cheese plates, charcuterie plates, our popular antipasti or even fresh wild berry cheesecake with a glass of Prosecco.
“As always, our food menu is available from 10am – 12am everyday, so if you are feeling peckish drop in for a bite to eat and drink!”
Boudoir’s cheese plate comprises Brie De Meaux, Taleggio, Fourme d’Ambert, sun blushed tomatoes, red onion chutney, grapes and bread with oils whilst its charcuterie plate comprises parma ham, salami, coppa, pate, pickled gherkins, red onion chutney and bread.
Its selection of toasted Italian bloomers, meanwhile, includes: salami, Taleggio and red onion chutney; Brie De Meaux, grape and cranberry, parma ham, sun blushed tomatoes and mayonnaise – whilst it continues to provide free antipasti between 5pm-7pm every day.
Located on a prominent corner site, at the junction of Candleriggs and Wilson Street, Boudoir offers an intimate space featuring an opulent white, purple and black interior with plush, veiled booths and wine barrels with high-backed bar stools.
