JUST one month after taking over the popular Italian Bistro and Partners Suite in Glasgow’s West End, Nasreen Aksi, a former Scottish Asian Businesswoman of the Year, has doubled bookings at the Partners Suite events venue.
Days after having invested in an extensive makeover to freshen the space and lend it a distinctly welcoming, contemporary feel, Nas reported a surge in bookings at the Partners Suite for weddings and a range of other social and corporate events.
“The first thing I did on being handed the keys to the Partners Suite was to give it a comprehensive makeover as I am convinced that it has tremendous potential to be the most popular venue for special events in Glasgow’s West End,” she said.
“Within days of taking over, we received confirmed bookings for 20 functions over the coming months, with many more to come!”
Set back from the main road and sheltered by trees, The Italian Bistro is located in a distinctive and stylish historic building on Glasgow’s Great Western Road, providing a stylish and contemporary dining atmosphere. Originally home to Kelvinside Railway Station, the charming building is of a finely detailed Italianate villa style.
Located directly above The Italian Bistro, the Partners Suite comprises a private cocktail bar, a large sun terrace and function suite with natural light and a modern and contemporary feel, providing the perfect venue for a range of corporate and social occasions, including weddings, funerals, birthdays, conferences and seminars.
