ALEA Glasgow, Scotland’s biggest gaming venue, will celebrate Chinese New Year with a special extravaganza on Sunday 2nd February featuring a grand prize draw giving customers a chance to win a trip to Hong Kong!

The spectacular night of celebrations will also feature a lion dance, free buffet, gift/trinket giveaways, free fortune cookies and lots of other fun activities.

Paul Rety, managing director at Alea Glasgow, added: “We always pull out the stops to celebrate Chinese New Year at Alea – but our grand prize draw with a trip to Hong Kong up for grabs will make sure that this year’s celebrations will be bigger and better than ever before!”

Alea started 2014 by erecting a ‘Great Wall of Prizes’ in the casino’s gaming floor featuring 16 small bricks with different symbols and one main golden brick with one matching symbol.

Each week, the first four guests out of the tombola will step up and pick a brick. This will reveal a cultural symbol. This will remain ‘their symbol’ to be used on big draw night when the person with the matching symbol wins the grand prize of a trip to Hong Kong.

With show stopping live entertainment, a luxurious casino, gaming floor and three cool bars, Alea Casino on the Clyde at Springfield Quay has a package to suit everyone and every budget. It boasts 16 gaming tables including Punto Banco, Roulette, Blackjack and 3 card poker, as well as daily poker tournaments and cash poker tables.
