Kilimanjaro challenge for Karen, daughter of NUJ team administrator

THE team administrator at the Scottish office of the National Union of Journalists has issued a call to help in the rebuilding of earthquake-hit Haiti, by attending a fundraising ceilidh.

Alice McCarney’s daughter, Karen, is climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in September in aid of the charity, Habitat for Humanity, which is involved in rebuilding work in Haiti.

And Karen and her husband are organising a ceilidh on the 12th of next month, to help raise funds for the charity.

Tickets are £15 and can be purchased via http://www.justgiving.com/ceilidh-for-haiti (which requires emailing ian@homesfortheworld.co.uk to have the tickets posted).
