One of Scotland's top universities has appointed a former senior BBC Scotland editor as its new media relations manager.
Former BBC editor, Peter Aitchison, joins the University of Glasgow, following four years working as a senior director with the Glasgow-based public relations agency, McGarvie Morrison Media, specialising in the Higher Education sector, and in devising and delivering media training to clients across the public and private sectors.
Aitchison's BBC career includes editing the likes of Good Morning Scotland and Newsnight Scotland.
