THE Glasgow-based body representing ‘street newspapers’ – such as The Big Issue magazine – published throughout the world has been shortlisted in a competition celebrating social enterprises.
The International Network of Street Papers has been named among the nominees in the Social Enterprise Supporter category in this year’s Scottish Social Enterprise Awards.
Social enterprises are independent businesses whose profits are used for social or environmental purposes.
The winners will be announced a fortnight on Thursday.
