A digital communications company has gone to the equator, to recruit its latest employees.
But Glasgow-based Dog Digital have not had to travel far to appoint Kevin McCloskey and Richard Kelly, as both were working for local online marketing agency, equator.
Senior account manager, McCloskey, will manage Dog Digital’s work with TV channel, stv’s online presence – www.stv.tv
Says Dog Digital: “He will be responsible for rolling out all aspects of stv’s new e-commerce strategy, via mobile phones and other platforms to promote various sections of the site to desired target audiences. He will also work across the following accounts for clients including Setanta Sports, The Hansard Society, InBev, Nortel Networks, DF Concerts, SECC, Forbo Flooring, Cooper Cromar, Glasgow City Council and Photique.”
At equator, he managed client accounts for major blue chip clients, and, prior to that, spent two years with MRM Partners, a London-based direct and interactive marketing solutions agency.
Meanwhile, Kelly, appointed as Dog Digital’s digital marketing manager, will oversee all areas
of digital marketing across the agencies client base and work closely with the account management, creative and technical teams.
Says the company: “He will consolidate Dog Digital’s existing digital marketing service to clients by developing affiliate marketing programmes and search management activities, as well
as delivering and driving effective web campaigns to ensure maximised online responses to email, viral, mobile marketing and online advertising campaigns.”
While at equator, he managed search campaigns and developed affiliate management programmes for major brands.
